About Me
Hello! And welcome to the inner workings of my mind!
My name is Kait Brown, and I’m a self-proclaimed 26-year-old weirdo living in Edinburgh with my border collie, Rafiki and my little gecko, Chandler. My whole life, I’ve loved to write, but I’ve always seen it as a bit of a not-so-guilty pleasure, my own little secret escapism, a private hobby and nothing more. I’ve written countless short stories and pieces of flash fiction stemming back to childhood.
However, this year, something changed. I began taking my writing out with me and my dog as we walked through the sunny Scottish woodland and somehow, in less than ten months, I’ve managed to complete four full novels. I have fallen in love with writing in a way I never thought possible and I’ve realised that that “hobby” has actually always been a burning passion just waiting to be released.
Well. I’ve released it now.
And I’m not willing to pack it away ever again.
My Books
I know that it’s ridiculous. I know that you're not real.
But sometimes, just sometimes... It's nice to pretend you are
